  1. I've listened to LAX Tower on LiveATC quite extensively. If a controller needs to change an instruction, the phraseology I've heard consistently is: "Callsign, taxi via Hotel Papa, hold short of Runway 25R" "Callsign, amend instruction, taxi via Hotel Tango, Hold short of Runway 25R." Taxiway Papa was recently renamed to Taxiway Juliet so you won't actually hear Taxiway Papa anymore...just saying that they use "amend instruction" in the real world.
  2. If I issue these turn instructions to departures will the aircraft on 25R make a left turn and aircraft on 24L make a right turn? I have used "turn left/right ### degrees" to ensure aircraft don't turn towards each other. This requires more attention to departures and distance from the runway but is also more realistic since RW LAX departures do not turn before the shoreline. Using the "after departure fly heading ###" instruction, what happens if you need to issue a go around instruction to an arrival? I don't think runway heading is accepted as a valid heading to fly (although it should). It seems that you would lose minimum separation between the departure and arrival on the same runway: for example, 25R departure is instructed to fly heading 235 after departure. Thr aircraft will start the turn immediately once airborne. If the 25L arrival on runway heading has to go around there could be a conflict with the turning departure. Same with the 24 departure turning right to heading 265 once airborne and the arrival on runway heading going around. What is the right solution here?
  3. Thanks for this - I was able to save the image and print it out at near full size. Appreciate the help tracking this down.
  4. Would you be willing to share the ORD diagram you found? I can send you a private message with my email address.
  5. I have started using Tower! 2011 recently after being away for a few years. In the San Francisco scenario, some B737 aircraft report they are unable to takeoff from runway 1L because it is too short. I ran into this problem when I first bought the simulator and someone on the forum was kind enough to help me with the steps to edit the airplane performance to eliminate the problem. I would appreciate if someone could kindly provide the steps to edit the aircraft performance information, or point me to another forum post with this information. Thanks in advance.
  6. The product page for Tower Simulator directs people to this forum for support. More accurately, it directs people to http://forum.iemit.com. Can someone please advise where I should post for technical support?
