  1. lol yes strange - everytime I can't open a file I first try with notepad / editor... I tried: If you open up the vent viewer - on the right side under "ACTIONS" you can see "OPEN SAVED LOG"... denny
  2. Well in my Windows 7 I just double click the evtx and the event viewer opens... you can also try to open the evtx file through the event viewer manually. There must be something like "open saved event log" or similar. I can't have a loook right now. But will check later... For the *.wer file I just opened it in "Editor". Cheers.
  3. Finally I can say: Version 4.938c and the new version 4.938f ARE BOTH WORKING fine!!! I am happy! Thanks Pete!!!! Good man!!!
  4. HI Pete, I finished testing and prepared two log files for you: 1. I loaded a dayflight an changed to nightflight 2. I loaded directly a nightflight I saved the events viewer error details as a event log to be openend with the event viewer. Also the error in the even viewer said sometning about a folder deep inside of the appdate. There was a report (a *.wer file) inside. I added this folder too. Hopefully this helps you. BUT: As a newbie I relly don't know how to attach the files here... I'll try to get you a dropbox link. Or is there another way? Now I will continue trying the other versions 4.938c and your new one 4.938f. Cheers!!!
  5. Yes understood. I'll send you event viewer and log details for version 4.938e. I cannot find a download link for 4.938c to try it out. There is the link on schiratti that says 4.938c but when you click on it you get the latest version 4.938e. You have a link?
  6. Oh we posted the same time... I'll try the version 4.938c - and then I'll look also for the LOG file.
  7. !!!! SOLVED !!!! Later I had the idea to install a previous version of FSUIPC: 4.937 - I still had that under my Sim Files from last year. This version is working with all FTX Versions and my configuration!!!! What's wrong with the new version? Thank you Peter for helping me! Denny
  8. Hi Pete, I appreciate your help. Thank you. I deleted modules folder - installed FSUIPC 4.938e - same issue. Then I deactivated the lights in FTX Global - same issue Then I deactivated ALL FTX (Global Base, Vector, Europe OpenLC) and FS Global in the scenery config - same issue I also tried with default P3D settings. Same thing - load a flight at daytime - all good - then change to night time or load a nighttime flight: CTD I am suffering^^ Anything else I could try? Best regards!!!! 9. Hi, I loaded FSUIPC latest version 4.938d for testing the FSFlyingSchool 2015 Demo. My Sim was working very well with FTX Global, Vector, OpenLC Europe and FS Global Ultimate. When I load a flight at daytime all is fine. But: When I load a flight at nighttime P3D says: FATAL ERROR and crashes to desktop. Removing the modules folder or just removing the FSUIPC_Loader.dll helps to prevent CTD --> it's an issue of FSUIPC. Windows event log doesn't help as there is no helpful information listed... Anyone who can please help me? A lot of Add Ons will use FSUIPC and I need also to fly @ night. Thanks a lot in advance. Denny
