  1. Hi Pete, When you say: I understand that these are functions operated by any switch in the panels or button combination. Am I right? I am now reading your user and advanced user manual in detail and trying to find out the way to assign buttons in my CH Throttle Quadrant to functions mainly in the Sperry autopilot of the MAAM DC3; for example: Sperry ON/OFF, increase or decrease the bank angle, headings and climb/descent attitude, but it appears not to be a direct or immediate assignment. Best regards, Lluís
  2. Hi Pete, Great, thanks!! Appears to work perfectly now. Because, as I did not know about the possibility of release the parking brakes by fully pressing the toe brakes, it was the action I thought could release the parking brakes when pressing one or the other toe brake. Sorry, I am learning  Thanks again. Go to try flying now !! Best regards, Lluís
  3. Hi Pete, I am doing my best to sort all this out, but I do not succeed. I have assigned axes and buttons and calibrated the CH Flight Sim Yoke PC and the CH Pro Pedals. I do not know if these assignments and calibrations work in flight as I could not yet take off :D. The Toe brakes have been specially difficult to calibrate and I think I've done it, but the problem is: I am at the ramp, parking brakes set and release the parking brakes with "." The parking brakes are released but still appearing the label "BRAKES" at bottom left. The toe brakes are not running as when I press one or the other the label "DIFFERENTIAL BRAKES" appear. Theoretically, simply pressing "." any brake should be released but it does not. I have tried the "Delta" button when configuring the Toe Brakes but does not seem to be important here. Could you tell me what am I doing wrong? I have deleted all assignments of FS2004 to my Yoke and Pedals, so suppossedly FSUIPC is handling everything. As a final question, before using FSUIPC, the parking brakes were automatically released when pressing any of the toe brakes. I have configured both toe brakes to "parameter -1" and "Parking brakes" under the "Control sent when range entered". Is that correct? Thanks again and hope to stop bothering you in short. Best regards, Lluís
  4. Done !!! THANKS !! Lluís
  5. Hi John, I have printed and read your document. Thank you very much for it. I am now trying to obtain the maximum benefit of it but I have a few questions after the first read: 1. In page 2, when assigning an axis to one of the levers of the ThQ, you write: There are five remaining levers on the ThQ and they are all assigned the same way as the first lever. My question is whether the other thrust levers will automatically be assigned to Joy# 2 and if then another drop-down Throttle2 will appear under the Throttle1, or that will be assigned somewhere else? 2. Sometimes I fly a Douglas DC-4 with four engines, four propellers and four "mixtures". However, the ThQ has only levers for a twin engine. Is there any way to apply the same settings (thrust, propeller and mixture) for all four engines using only those six levers? 3. I fly several twin-engine jets (PSS B757, A320) and four engine jets (PMDG B744 and Historic Jetliners Group DC85 and B463). Is there any way to configure the ThQ for a twin-egine and a four-engine without deeper detail? Is this a good solution or is it better to do the same procedure for each aircraft separatedly? Likely more questions to come as soon as I work on your article. Again, thanks in advance, Lluís
  6. Hi, Pete, I sincerely appreciate your time answering the questions of FSUIPC users. Thank you in advance. I have a problem with my computer which will likely end in a new motherboard. Thus, another formatting will soon be necessary. I am now studying the article of John Cook on the way to configure CH Products with FSUIPC and I will try now to do it by myself. The question isonce I finish configuring my Flight sim Yoke PC and my Pedals (waiting to receive the Throttle Quadrant from California) is there any way to save all that work and retrieve it after a PC format without re-doing everything again? Thanks once more, Lluís
  7. Hi, Thanks. I will try, although those times when I started programming in FORTRAN are veeery far away and I've lost all my skills. If I do not suceed, I will try another couple of free keys, though not always easy because you never know which key combination is already used by FS. It is curious because FSInn does differentiate without any problem when you choose right CTRL or left CTRL for COMM or private communication, respectively. Cheers, Lluís
  8. Good morning, I will try this way by editing the INI file. Thank you very much, Lluís
  9. Hi, Perhaps I am asking something already answered, but I was unable to find it in other topics. If so, please my apologies in advance and please help me to find the answer to this question. I have read the User's Manual and followed the procedure described for assigning keystrokes to joystick buttons. I use FSInn and it is very easy to assign the PTT key either for COMM or private voice, but when using the PMDG B744 I need to use SquawkBox 4 to make the VOR needles visible. Well, SB4 does not allow to configure joystick buttons and I am using FSUIPC for that. However, I feel very comfortable using right CTRL key for COMM and left CTRL key for private voice, and the same keys when controlling with EuroScope. Unfortunately, I found no way to configure FSUIPC to accept the CTRL key as a single keystroke as it only works in combination with another key. Is there any way to do it? Thanks in advance, Lluís
