  1. My 'initial' thoughts (and some 'minor' issues that maybe Vic can help out on): Played the TIST tutorial. It was just enough to get your 'feet' wet, which is what a tutorial does. Then I went to KPHL at 1400. As posted by jmesty, I wish there was a way to adjust traffic. I had planes popping up left and right. I did have to delete one plane (Denali 1161) as he wasn't moving, and was one of the first planes to call for taxi. The others taxied just fine, and no, there wasn't any other 'planes' in his way. I saw no way to 'assign' taxiways. I may have to experiment with this (maybe insert the taxiway letter in the command line??). For that to happen, I will need to print out the taxiway diagram. EDIT: I found that you can right-click on the taxiway(s) on the ADIRS to choose the routing. Right-click again to 'deselect' that routing. The routing assignment goes up in the command line so you can see, especially if you have the airport diagram in front of you. I found this on accident, but works great. Looks like multi-monitor support is non-existent. Would be nice to move the radars and app/dep list over to the other monitor. Graphics are excellent (and I'm not going to be 'picky' about red beacon on tail, either). Haven't played with any weather yet so can't comment. Thoughts on some of these, Vic? All in all, I think it is a great product, especially for $30. This is MY opinion. Some may be disappointed but for me, this will give me hours and hours of fun (but sure would like multi-monitor support). Rob
  2. I'll post a quick 'review' after I play that tutorial. And thanks for the hard work, Vic!
  3. OK, Vic. Stupid question: how do you 'start' the game after you pick the airports/runways/etc? Maybe I'm not seeing something I gotta get the grill fired up, but will 'look' again in a few
  4. While we wait, does T!3D come with the then-current airport diagrams, or should we download them?
  5. Leave for today? Just send me the download link first :) 2.5 hours and counting
  6. Your killing me, Vic! Your webpage count will go skyhigh today with me refreshing throughout the day
  7. Less than 10 hours to 'launch'! Can't wait until 5pm CST. I'll be ready for that 'Buy' button to actually work
  8. I agree. It wouldn't take someone long to just make a quick 5 minute video. Heck, they are 'playing' it as we speak, so why not capture some actual gameplay and post it?
  9. Just looked, & if FT releases Tower!3D at UTC +2, that would make it 5pm Monday here in Missouri. Looks like an early dinner that night
  10. Hey Avwriter, how did you get that info about Eastern Europe and 'their' release date? I think Vic and staff are here in the US and set that date for the US. Just a guess, though, but I won't be sad at all if what you said is correct. I will definitely keep an eye out.
  11. I usually LOVE 3-day weekends, but this one is gonna be a LONG one. I think Vic had it planned to torture us with a release AFTER a 3-day weekend. I may be in a food coma on Tuesday and have to take that day off. My wife will think I'm nuts for being up early early Tuesday to start my download
  12. Me, too. I was figuring in the mid-$40 (or even a tad higher). Tuesday can't get here soon enough
  13. I'd gladly pay an extra $5 for an early Friday release (hint hint, Vic)
  14. SWEET!. I hardly complain about 3-day weekends, but this is going to be a LONG weekend. I may have to call in 'sick' on Tuesday.
  15. I thought that, too, but the water is too the left, instead of the right pointing towards the city.
  16. The 'Buy' button on Feelthere's website won't work on any of my web browsers. Anyone else have this problem? Hope they get it fixed by the weekend :)
  17. Thanks, Vic! What would the first add-on airport be? Any actual gameplay with menu controls would work for me (maybe from initial taxi request to takeoff/hand-off to departure?)
  18. If they are waiting for the one delivery distributor to finish their part (assuming the 'sim' is finished), why not take 5 minutes or so and post a quick video?
