  1. Tower!3D Pro - Not Parking at Highlighted Terminal

    There should be an easy fix because it accepts it when typed out but if you say 'TAXIWAY MIKE ONE SIX" nothing. Also if I direct an aircraft to runway 26L and say VIA FOXTROT it doesn't understand the command but if I say "AT ECHO ONE ONE VIA FOXTROT" it recognizes FOXTROT. So only if directing it to an entry point before a via point. I am running into many of these and it's not a voice recognition issue because most commands work but certain ones never work and these are 2 examples. So there must be somewhere to change this. If anyone knows how to do it let me know!

    One other frustrating thing I am encountering is issuing a exit. On many occasions I get the response "Unable to land. The runway is too short" and then the aircraft either exits at that same exit point or a closer one?? So if landing on 27l and I direct to exit at N4 I will get the message and then it exits at that same exit or at N6 which is even a shorter landing! Not sure if you have encountered that.

    Hi Dick!

    I have been using schedule creator 24V1 for Tower 3D pro and it works great!

    My only question is that i don't get any Fedex or UPS flights. I added them to Terminal GA and now I see about 3 aircraft at the gates but they never seem to arrive or depart. I have even started the game at a time when there were about 9 lines of Fedex schedules listed and not one came up during the game. Was wondering if you have any suggestions?

    Just as I post this a Fedex flight arrives! So looks like it finally recognized it! Funny enough the whole hour passed with no flights and when the second hour showed up in came in.

    I noticed that if using multiple screens that you can not type on the strip. It has to be on the main screen.

    Just one for the list. Although preference for the list would be that it change to where the aircraft is at any point automatically. :-)

    Is it normal that the STRIP does not change to TAXI after PUSHBACK? It seems that after PUSHBACK it never changes so looks like all aircraft are pushing back. Would be nice if it would change to TAXI. Even nicer with the current taxiway it is on as it moves.

    Hi All! 

     

    I am am looking for a new computer and I am looking for advice from all of you who are having an amazing experience with Tower!3D Pro. I’m looking specifically for your computer specs (processor, graphics card, ram, memory etc.). My experience with it is horrible but I know that I need to upgrade so I want to make sure I have the right system without killing the wallet.

  16. Tower 3D 5 second Lag

    Hi All,

    I tried to resolve this with FeelTHere Support but the answer I received was they can not suggest anything else to help me with this issue so I am throwing it out there to see if someone had success with a resolution. I have all the system requirements to run the game. I waited until the SP came out to see if it would resolve the problem but no luck.

    When playing the game, the game takes ~5 real time seconds for every game second to elapse. Therefore a huge lag and skipping on the frames. I have reduced resolution and quality but that only makes a very slight difference and then of course the picture is pretty bad.

    I ran task manager and CPU runs at only 25% of capacity and Memory at 43% of capacity. So well below what is required to run the game in full resolution and quality. All drivers up to date.

    I remember that when playing Tower!2011 I deleted a shadow file on EDDF and that solved this lag problem so now I am throwing it out there to see if anyone has a fix since FeelThere isn't able to help me on this one.

    Sucks to have the game and not play it!

    Same issue here. 5 real time seconds for every T3D second. Haven't found a solution yet.

    I have tried everything I can think of.

    by the way Avwriter, is it just me or is the speed either super slow or super fast for aircraft movement?

  19. Tower3D Frame Skipping

    Hi all!

    Hoping someone can help with this one or has found a solution. I've looked at the other topics and none have helped.

    My screen seems to skip frames or lag. I have tried everything I can think of so if you have tried something and it works then please share.

    Settings are set to Fantastic and 1920 x 1080 59hz

    Windows 10

    64 bit x64 processor

    GeForce Nvidia GT 420

    1920 x 1080 60hz

    Hi Avwriter,

    I found the solution to the bat problem. I had the same issue and found a work around.

    Right click on Tower3D file, scroll down to properties, click security tab,  click edit, in the Group or user names box choose users and make sure it's highlighted, then click the Allow box where it shows Full Control. Then click apply and that's it. Do it for both Tower3d and Tower3D Bat icon. Then when you double click on the Tower3D bat icon it will play.

    Let me know if that works for you.

     

    Although it let's you start the program in bat to log it, it still crashes at 70% for me

    Same happens with me. When I try to launch bat a black windows pops up for a split second and then nothing! And I am also having it run up to 70% and nothing! 

     

    I haven't seen a fix for those of us with the 70% problem being resolved. And I can't send a log since running through bat doesn't work either!

    Smart price target! There is a correlation that shows pricing it low enough will result in greater sales. If it's priced too high they will get less sales and even with the hike in price will not profit as well. Plus the greater the population using the product, the greater the publicity the product will get! Good job guys!
