vagadal
Hi. I just installed FSUIPC 3.14 and now when logging on Squawkbox, my position according to Servinfo is totally wrong. It shows that I am on the west coast of Africa when I am at EHAM (Holland) I had this problem a few years ago, when starting flying online, but was told to change the . and , in the Language and reginoal setting in the Control Panel of WIN XP. But now the same happens. I have tried to change the . and , back, but without luck. I have never had this problem before just now after installing FSUIPC 3.14 after I changed the . and , So does anyone know why this problem is back??? Pete Dowson
Hi. I just installed FSUIPC 3.14 and now when logging on Squawkbox, my position according to Servinfo is totally wrong. It shows that I am on the west coast of Africa when I am at EHAM (Holland)? The "position" you are getting is merely Latitude 0, Longitude 0. It indicates that Squawkbox is not connecting to FSUIPC. Check the FSUIPC Log, it will probably tell you why. The most likely thing is that you have not registered FSUIPC as a User, and neither have you registered Squawkbox as an application. Please check the FSUIPC User Guide supplied in the ZIP. If you don't need the FSUIPC user facilities so don't want to pay for it, just check the Freeware Key list earlier in this Forum and use that to register Squawkbox in FSUIPC. vagadal
Thanks you very much. Flight Simulator had to restart and writing the word (Servinfo, Squawkbox) in the name was/is also important. Again, thanks for the nice explaination.
