Jaaky Posted February 18, 2004 Report Posted February 18, 2004 Hi Pete, In FstarRC.ini Ver 1.83 I used to have a path to save a PLN-file to FS as well as a path to save a PLN-file to my FMC, like this: RC="E:\PROGRAM FILES\rcv30\APLfiles" FS2000="H:\PROGRAM FILES\FS2002" FS2002="H:\PROGRAM FILES\FS2002\FMCWP\navdata\FlightPlans" but since updating to Version 1.85, when using FStarRC, my fs2000 path disappears. like this: RC="E:\PROGRAM FILES\rcv30\APLfiles" FS2000="" FS2002="H:\PROGRAM FILES\FS2002\FMCWP\navdata\FlightPlans" Is there a way to avoid that ??? Thanks for advice... Jaaky P.S. Just updated to Flitestar Version 9 (9.029 -build 7216- to be precise) and can confirm to you that FStarRC seems to work well with that version.

ErI've not changed that, and it doesn't do that here. I use both paths too -- one for FS2002 and one for FS2004. I'm not really able to suggest anything today, too busy preparing for holidays. If you can't sort it, can you remind me when I return on March 12th please? I'll make a note here too. Sorry. P.S. Just updated to Flitestar Version 9 (9.029 -build 7216- to be precise) and can confirm to you that FStarRC seems to work well with that version. Thank you! Pete P.S. After today I am on holiday until March 12th, so please forgive any delays in replies.
Jaaky Posted February 18, 2004 Author Report Posted February 18, 2004 Hi Pete, I'll try if I can get it to work... otherwise we'll see after your hollidays, it's not vital... Enjoy !!! 8)
Jaaky Posted February 18, 2004 Author Report Posted February 18, 2004 Hi Pete, It is solved... Instead of setting the path's for fs2000 and fs2002, I set them for fs2002 and fs2004 It now works ! Remains for you to add to the DOC that the FS2004 path parameter does work. Happy Hollidays !

Anyway, I'll re-check it all when I get back. It does only handle two FS paths, and they should be EITHER FS2000 and FS2002, or FS2002 and FS2004. There's really no difference between them all in any case, it is merely two paths to copy the .PLN file to. Maybe I'll change it so you can have all three in any case! Best, Pete
Jaaky Posted February 18, 2004 Author Report Posted February 18, 2004 ErI assume you mean the FS2000 path doesn't work? At least not on my system, Pete... BTW, the APL-file goes to a local drive, the PLN files to a mapped network drive, but I did not think that could be a factor in this. Anyhow, Pete... got your suitcase packed ??? time to forget FStarRC for a while :D
