Hi to all!

I'm using a PFC throttle console with 6 levers:

1 - spoiler

1 - reverse

4 - engines

Now my problem is with the 4 engines levers. It's impossible to use them because they're not syncronize. If all 4 levers are at the same position I have different engines values on the plane using Flight Simulator 2004.

I use the last PFC.DLL

Is not possible to syncronize all the 4 levers via pfc.dll ?

I bought the Bae 146 via Aerosoft shop and with the PFC it's hard to fly due to this absurd problem

Many thanks!

Regards,

Max

PS: sorry for my poor English

Well, it shouldn't be such a proglem really -- it sounds like you should calibrate the 4 throttles again, taking care to get the end positions set more carefully to give similar values when they are at similar positions.

Also, you will notice in real aircraft, especially BAe 146's, that the four throttles levers are often not truly aligned -- you adjusct them using the instruments or the auto-throttle facilities.

However, that said, in the current PFC.DLL there is a control for Throttle Sync which you can assign to a spare button, of you have one. There are also options to equalise Throttles 1 and 2 when close, but at present this does not work for 4 engines. If you really find it a problem I can consider adding that, though it really should not be necessary.

Pete

Hi Pete! No problem!

Mmmm...ok but where I can calibrate the levers? I try via pdf.dll into FS but I don't find any calibration section into the program.

Right... but the Bae146 has not the autothrottle :(

 Oohhh!!! I didn't know about this function! Where exactly? I'll search for it!

Dear Pete, for me is a "real problem" because it's impossible to use the 4 levers first of all during take off. Actually I use only 2 levers. The first lever controls engines 1 and 2; the second lever controls engines 3 and 4

and with the equalise function all work fine. I hope in the future you can add this feature to engines 3 and 4.

Many many thanks Pete!!!

Best regards,

Max

Eryou have a PFC throttle quadrant, connecting via a COM/Serial port (or USB with COM driver), and you install PFC.DLL, yet you don't get a PFC menu entry?

I think you need to explain EXACTLY what you have installed. Maybe it is not PFC at all?

I don't understand how you have managed to map Throttle 1 to engines 1 and 2 and Throttle 2 to engines 3 and 4, yet have not even calibrated your levers in PFC yet? Calibration is the very FIRST thing you should do, for each throttle quadrant you own. There is no way the quadrants can be shipped "ready calibrated". If you've never done this simple task, I am really not surprised you have so much difficulty!!!

Please check the PFC documentation and follow the instructions. The whole process is VERY simple -- no one else has reported any problem with this task in the two years that the PFC.DLL has been provided!

:-(

Pete
