compuzed Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 I found the text in the fsuipc advanced manual, but was unable to find the lines in the fs2002.cfg that it talked about. I found the line in the fsuipc.ini file that referenced the mixture axis to the value 66292, but i don't know what to do with that info. What I have found is that when I "set" the reverser axis, I see the numbers move. When I fly, I cut the throttle, I have to assign a button on my Yoke to [decrease throttle], and then when I swith the axis the reversers deply. I want to cut the need to hit the [decrease throttle] completely. has anybody been able to do this?? :?
Pete Dowson Posted March 12, 2004 Report Posted March 12, 2004 Sorry for the delay in replying -- I've been on holiday with no Internet access. I'm just trying to catch up with an enormous backlog now! When I fly, I cut the throttle, I have to assign a button on my Yoke to [decrease throttle], and then when I swith the axis the reversers deply. I want to cut the need to hit the [decrease throttle] completely. It sounds like your throttle control isn't reducing the thrust value to zero then. Re-calibrate making sure that the throttle has a good "null zone" at idle so that you always achieve zero. Reversers will not engage otherwise. Regards, Pete
