noah_hath Posted March 16, 2004 Report Posted March 16, 2004 I'm ABL adventure programmer and need to read (NOT TO SET) the weather parameters from the current plane position in FS2004 (Like wind, rain, temperature, clouds) into my ABL variables. The standard ABL does not support any Interface to to access the weather parameters. I wonder if there is any way with FSUIPC to access to these parameters and use them in ABL. I used “APL” in FS2000/FS2002 and could link FSUIPC to it. Is there a way to do the same thing with “ABL” and then to read weather parameters with FSUIPC? Thank you very much Hendrik
Pete Dowson Posted March 17, 2004 Report Posted March 17, 2004 I wonder if there is any way with FSUIPC to access to these parameters and use them in ABL. No, sorry. I really have no knowledge about it at all, other than that former APL programmers seem to say it is far too restrictive in comparison, and most I know have moved to external VB programs instead. Regards, Pete
