Pete Dowson Posted July 7, 2004 Report Posted July 7, 2004 hello, im having serious stuttering using fsmeteo in fs2004, the creator of fsmeteo told me to deactivate the render to texture key, so i did, but im still have the stuttering when the sim reads new weather, i think.... Check the cloud settings in Options-Settings-Display-Weather. Set 3D clouds to 100% If this slows your sim too much, reduce the top two sliders. Also look for the Chris Willis fast cloud set. It sounds like your system isn't coping too well with the default clouds. i installed the new fsuipc 3.30 today because it says it will fix something about wind smoothing,,,but i dont know if that concearns to the stutterings The wind smoothing options will work, but only if you enable them. It will have nothing whatsoever to do with stutters, which are almost always 100% to do with graphics. Regards, Pete
mystico2 Posted July 8, 2004 Author Report Posted July 8, 2004 thanks ..i will try that, also i just installed a new 32 bit clouds set from fsw. i ll let you know.
