Hello Pete,

I am working as a research assistant in a perceptions lab. We are constructing a vection (feeling of self motion when stationary) flight simulator. I have been in coorespondents with Luciano (the author of WideView) for sometime, and he has recommended your FSUIPC for a particular problem I have. Without getting into too much detail, for the flight simulator we need to have multiple views, i.e. one of the ground, one front view, one front-left, etc. and we need to record a SMOOTH flight, that can be saved so that we may have one consistent stimulus to present. The Flight Video within FS2004 is choppy, Instant replay can't be saved, Fraps does not offer multiple views. Luciano told me that your program has the requirements for the recording we require. Unfortunately I am a novice computer user, could you tell me if and how I might create this smooth running multi-viewed recording of a flight using your program. Thank you for your time. I anxiously anticipate your response.

Sorry, I have absolutely no idea. I have no program which is in any way related to flight videos, or even graphics. I think Luciano must be mistaken.

Pete

Hi,

I´m currently working on such a recording module (it´s using FSUIPC). Go to the AVSIM MS Flight Simulator General Discussion Forum and do a search for "module" and "recording" and you should find the thread where I announced it. Read it, and If you want to take part in testing send me a mail. I´ve already sent an early alpha version to some testers about two weeks ago.

Regards, Matthias
