KennyG Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 Hi All I sent this message earlier but appears it did not make the board. I am flying the L049A Constalation for FS2004 developed by FSDZIGNS. When I dock the Advsisp panel to the 2D panel it shows up on the Engineers panel when I switch from one panel to the other. I am unable to keep the Advdisp panel docked to just the single panel. I have checked the options and I am unable to find an option which keeps the Advdisp panel dedicated to the 2D panel. This is a very minor problem if anyone has an answer would appreciate same. Hopefully I have explained what is happening. Thanks for any replys in advance. Kenny G.
Pete Dowson Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 I have checked the options and I am unable to find an option which keeps the Advdisp panel dedicated to the 2D panel. This is usually a problem of some other (perhaps hidden) panel part being seen first by the DLL. In such cases the best way is to edit the [AdvDisplay] section in the relevant PANEL.CFG file for the Aircraft, specifying the window name it should be docked to -- usually "main panel" for the big 2D part -- please see the "Changes in version 2" section of the documentation, especially item 12. If this is also too difficult, perhaps because of some specialised panel design, the alternative is to "Lock" the display instead, and use the FSUIPC hot key to show and hide it. Of course that would need a registered copy of FSUIPC. Regards, Pete
