PMDG panel problem w/ fsuipc v3.411

I had a registered copy of fsuipc v3.4 and everything is PERFECT. Pete I have to say that I love the program and the calibration utility is amazing. Without it my crappy Extreme 3D Pro logitech joystick (which doesn't have any type of calibration) would be screwed. When I downloaded and put v3.411 into the modules folder i deleted the .ini file so it can rebuild. Put my registration into in the correct fields and then it told me to restart fs. Did that but when i start fs up and get into any of the PMDG planes (own them all) none of the guages from the 737NG series work. They are all black or turned off. I have been messing around with them for a while and nothing so far. I have put v3.4 back on for the time being until I can or someone else can help me solve this problem.

Ugh! Not a good idea. You should never have to do that, not unless you haven't updated FSUIPC for a year or more! Even then you still lose all your settings for nothing!

Erregistration?! You deleted your FSUIPC.KEY file as well? Good grief! Never do that unless you really want to re-register. And then be VERY VERY careful that you enter everything exactly right!

The difference between versions does not normally affect anything in the INI files, and most certainly nothing in the registration. As documented, updating FSUIPC is simply a matter of copying in the FSUIPC.DLL file.

There's most certainly nothing changed in FSUIPC that would affect any of that. Even entering your registration incorrectly wouldn't do that, as the PMDG aircraft have their own accredited access key.

The first place to look is the FSUIPC.LOG file. What does that show? Please just start up FS with FSUIPC 3.411 installed, then close FS, and show me the entire FSUIPC Log file (from the modules folder).

Reason I deleted all those things was because on the PMDG support forums people told me I should do that. So i did. The settings are no big deal. It only takes about 30sec to redo all of them.

Okay. Nevertheless, there appears to be something wrong with your user Key. Please send your FSUIPC.KEY file to me at petedowson@btconnect.com, and also, if possible, the original notification details (from SimMarket? Or wherever). I'll see if I can sort out what has happened.

I have a similar problem with F16.GAU where the gauge does'nt show any aircraft anymore since version 3.41 . I went back to 3.40 and it start working again. Looking in the fsuipc log file i see no error at all.

While using 3.41, if i remove the USER section (did a backup before) in FSUIPC.KEY - doing so i become not registered - then the gauge is working fine using the program key.

In 3.41, i don't have problem with fscamera (another program with a key) at any time (registered or not) - only with F16.GAU when registered.

What's wrong with it ?

ZIP up your FSUIPC Log (with 3.41 or 3.411 of course), plus your original FSUIPC.KEY file, and send to me at petedowson@btconnect.com and I'll check it out. Better also include your original key notification (from SimMarket progably?) is case I need to sort it out here.
