chrisworld Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 Hello Mr. Dowson, I already posted this message in the Newsgroup of projectmagenta but it seems nobody knows an answer. So I hope you might help me. Here it is: I have problems in calibrating my speed brakes (analog) I calibrated the axes in EPICCenter (checked the"NO CENTER"), F9,(no errors), F10, then calibrated it in Game controllers and then started FS2004, in FSUIPC I calibrated it again. the inputs are ok, the output is only from 0 to +16384 , but it seems that I need it from -16384 till +16384 to make them work through the whole range. Does anybody know a solution? The FS9.cfg: [JOYSTICK_MAIN {316729E0-DDA0-11D8-8002-444553540000}] LOCKED=1 AXIS_EVENT_04=AXIS_SPOILER_SET AXIS_SCALE_04=64 AXIS_NULL_04=0 How can I get the full range, not only the half. I use FS2004 and in the FSUIPC document is written we have to use AXIS_SPOILER_SET istead of SPOILER SET. What did I do wrong? Greetings and thank you Toby
Pete Dowson Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 I already posted this message in the Newsgroup of projectmagenta but it seems nobody knows an answer. Odd, I've read all the threads there and I didn't see that. Never mind, must have missed it somehow. in FSUIPC I calibrated it again. the inputs are ok, the output is only from 0 to +16384 , but it seems that I need it from -16384 till +16384 to make them work through the whole range. Are you using FSUIPC 3.411, the current release? Please check the Release details at the top of this forum. One bug in 3.40 which was corrected in 3.41 is listed in the details and affects spoiler calibration. Please do read the notices in this forum, especially the details of new releases, and always make sure you are using the latest version before posting problems -- I can't support old versions I'm afraid. Regards, Pete
