:?: After installing & registering I found that the realism sliders like the P-Factor to be grayed out. Is this normal and how do I set these values now. I found the same problem when customizing weather settings.

Installing and registering what? You need to be a little more specific, really.

Anyway, nothing of mine changes any FS menu entries. There are facilities in FSUIPC for applications programs to disable entire menus, like Aircraft, World and such. Those programs are the ones used in competions and they do that to prevent cheating. But even those changes are timed out -- if the application stops running and doesn't refresh its requests every few seconds the menus revert.

:D Acting on your responce I have discoverd that this is from my FSD Aerostar which overides all realism settings ensuring that the aircraft is operated s close to the real thing FS9 will allow.

FSD products come with a configuration pannel where the realizim settings are done and this unfortunatly afects all aircraft. I will have to remember to uncheck the box before flying anything other than the Aerostar which is a stunning aircraft from FSD despite this small problim.

Okay. Glad you sorted it. Thanks for letting us know!

Something ells has come to light with regard to the grayed out sliders. I have recently installed WindowBlines 4.4. It is now apparent that this was the actual cause of the problem as all windows sliders were grayed out and after un installing this product all is well.

My apologies to FSD!
