Pilot activity detection

Hello !

I am programming an external module for a VA and one of their requirements is to be able to log separately the hours of real pilot activity (ie. the pilot is in contact with FS ATC, or doesn't have his FS window minimised etc.)

Can this be done through FSUIPC ? I mean:

- Communications with FS ATC detection

- Window state of FS

No, sorry. I'd like to be able to intercept and interact with FS ATC, but have not found a way. I am hoping things will be better in the next version of FS. Would an on-line flyer use FS's ATC? Seems strange.

And I'm not really sure what to make of "window state". Why would someone fly with FS minimised? and if it was detectable and he wanted to avoid that, why not swap programs with ALT+TAB or similar?
