Pete Dowson Posted December 18, 2004 Report Posted December 18, 2004 I've registered version of FSUIPC but cannot get icao codes from "modules", in FS2004 durin flight. It works well in FS2002. What can I do ? What do you mean? How do you "get ICAO codes from "modules"". I don't understand, sorry. Pete
pospappa Posted December 30, 2004 Author Report Posted December 30, 2004 Pete I've registred FSUIPC v.3.411 and Andreas Widmann's ICAO codes search addon + " Manuels service pack 3" in my FS2004 modules folder. I've flown fs since FS4 and solved many problems along the road myself. But now I need help ! Every time when I try to open FSUIPC in the modules when flying ,my computer crasches and I get just black screen . I'm not sure when this started but I suspect either" Manuel" ore "ICAOCODES". What do You suspect ? There is also advdisply module but it has worked earlier just fine. There isn't any extra fsuipc.dll files around,-at least I have not found them. Any ideas ? I've removed the 2 *.dll files tha are used by the ICAOCODES addon but it did not help. Uninstalling Manuels is a bit more complicate, so I havn't done it yet Pertti Selänne
Pete Dowson Posted December 30, 2004 Report Posted December 30, 2004 I've registred FSUIPC v.3.411 and Andreas Widmann's ICAO codes search addon + " Manuels service pack 3" in my FS2004 modules folder. I don't know the latter two, but please update to the current FSUIPC (3.44). I really cannot support old versions. Every time when I try to open FSUIPC in the modules when flying ,my computer crasches and I get just black screen . I'm not sure when this started but I suspect either" Manuel" ore "ICAOCODES". What do You suspect ? Sorry, I've no idea. All that FSUIPC does when you click on the FSUIPC entry in the Modules menu is open a dialogue -- a standard, run-of-the-mill dialogue window using standard windows tools. Maybe something you've installed has corrupted or changed part of Windows itself? The main library module used is COMCTL32.DLL. Regards, Pete
