RGulliver Posted December 24, 2004 Report Posted December 24, 2004 Peter, Firstly thanks for FSUIPC. I am currentle building a homebuild cockpit of the Panavia Tornado GR4 using IOCARDS/FSUIPC and I was wondering if you could introduce throttle setup for fighter/bomber aircraft The throttle for the Tornado is as follows HP Shut - I intend to use a microswitch to close the fuel valve Idle (N1=37% rpm N2=60%) Max Dry N1 -100% rpm N2=97% Max Reaheat (N1=106%rpm N2=104%rpm) Combat (N1=109% rpm N2 = 107% rpm) Reverse thust is selected by rocking the throttles to the left. I intend to use a microswitch to select this. Please see attached Drawing of the throttle layout Kind regards RGulliver

What do you mean by "throttle setup"? The facilities in FSUIPC are not aircraft specific, but general -- you can use them as you wish. Regards, Pete
RGulliver Posted December 24, 2004 Author Report Posted December 24, 2004 Peter At the moment FSUIPC allows to set idle and max throttle. Would it be possible to have the facility to set Idle, max dry, max reheat Kind regards RGulliver
Pete Dowson Posted December 24, 2004 Report Posted December 24, 2004 At the moment FSUIPC allows to set idle and max throttle. Would it be possible to have the facility to set Idle, max dry, max reheat Calibration in FSUIPC allows setting any throttle position, not simply idle and max. Please simply calibrate for the maximum range you need, in any cirumstance, then have some notches or marks for intermediate positions. You don't really need FSUIPC just for this in any case. Regards, Pete
