FS2002 + IVAP + FREE FSUIPC work fine (with default aircrafts).

After PSS A320 or 777PRO, 747 PRO are installed, get this mess.:

"One or more programs you are using is not accredited for access to an unreg. copy of FSUIPC..."

Where is the problem, how can I repair it?

Thank you.

It means exactly what it says. One of the programs you've installed has updated your version of FSUIPC to 3.xx and something you are using is accessing FSUIPC without a proper access key.

If the FSUIPC version is not 3.47 then go download the latest from http://www.schiratti.com/dowson. You can find out what version you have in FS by going to the Modules menu and selecting FSUIPC, or simply by right-clicking on the FSUIPC.DLL itself (in the FS modules folder) and selecting Properties-Version.

When you get the problem reported, you presumably know which of the add-on aircraft you are loading? Either way, you can look in the FSUIPC.LOG (in the FS Modules folder) to find out which module or gauge is not registered. All the details of the problem will be logged.

Thank you sir for your prompt reply and advice.

Version of using FSUIPC is 3.4.5.0, and I think this version was installed with IVAP and works fine.

If I see the log file, there is something like this:

Does it mean, that the payware PSS A320 PRO also needs FSUIPC???

And needs to be registered with FSUIPC???

How and why?

thank you.

Okay, that is only a little out of date. I would still advise installing 3.47.

The PSS-A320 gauge was given an access key in November 2003. Perhaps your version is out of date?

Evidently PSS-A320.GAU uses FSUIPC, yes, otherwise FSUIPC would not even be aware of its existence. It should be seeking automatic access by providing its access key -- which was, as I say, given to PSS in November 2003.

Please see if there is an update you have missed.

I just wonder how it is possible that PSS A320 had worked well by the time I installed IVAP. All the trouble began at the time of installation of IVAP. Could there be any connection. I have been using A320 for more than one year without any problems...

Thank you for your help, anyway. I will try to download a new version of FSUIPC.

Bye

Yes, of course, as I said right at the start, something you installed (presumably IVAP) updated your version of FSUIPC to version 3.xx.

If you were using FS2002 with FSUIPC 2.xx before, there would never have been any registration. All that only came about with version 3.00. The last Version 2.xx is now nearly two years old and has not been supported or developed since version 3.00 appeared in July 2003.

Hallo Pete and Adam,

I have the same problem, quite exactly. I get the same message and also the log is almost the same.

Besides that, the biggest Problem is the fact that after about one minute after loading the PSS bus I get an electric failure, so the NAVs and COMs don´t work any longer. And I can´t "repair" that!

After some extensive searching on the internet I finally found this thread, and I agree with all terms so far. I use FS2002, the PSS A320 (bought about 2 years ago, so the FSUIPC was a 2.XX version, I think), and today I installed IvAp version 0.4.0, and with it the new FSUIPC version 3.45.

But I still don´t understand the solution of this problem! If I download FSUIPC 3.4.7 (as unregistered version like the one that came along with IvAp), does this solve the electronic problem and makes the message disappear? Or do I have to buy/register the version 3.4.5?

Or do I have to contact the PSS support? Does there exist a newer acces key for the a320 gauge?

Adam, did you solve the problem yet?

After all I read about the new IvAp version it wouldn´t be a good idea to downgrade back to the 2.XX or 3.XX version, right?

Greets,

Jürgen
