wee_davie Posted March 23, 2005 Report Posted March 23, 2005 Hello all, Is it possible to assign a joystick button to make it 'press' only the right Ctrl key? I'm trying to make one of the buttons on my joystick act as a PTT button to be used with teamspeak but I'm having little success with it. I've managed to make it work sucessfully using a standard key however this can create problems if not in flight sim. I prefer to use the right Ctrl key as it doesn't interfere with anything. I also tried a program someone mentioned in this forum that does the same thing. It worked ok but it is yet another program that needs to be running. I'd prefer to do it via fsuipc if at all possible. Is this possible? If so can someone explain how to do it? Cheers, David
hm Posted March 26, 2005 Report Posted March 26, 2005 Hi David, To my best knowledge, FSUIPC doesn't support via key programming the stand alone entries of left and/or right shift, alt or control keys, but only in combination with others. I am afraid, you can't achive the thing you want to do with FSUIPC. Best regards, Hugo
wee_davie Posted March 26, 2005 Author Report Posted March 26, 2005 Thanks Hugo, you reply was much what I expected. Cheers, David
Pete Dowson Posted April 2, 2005 Report Posted April 2, 2005 Is it possible to assign a joystick button to make it 'press' only the right Ctrl key? Not with FSUIPC, no. Regards, Pete
