Is corect that: COM connector pin 2 = data IN (RxD) pin 3 = data OUT (TxD) Ipaq 39xx pin 7 = data IN (RxD) pin 8 = data OUT (TxD) :?: Thanks .-) P.S. I hope, that GPSout work with Free FSUIPC too..
Pete Dowson Posted May 8, 2005 Report Posted May 8, 2005 COM connector pin 2 = data IN (RxD) pin 3 = data OUT (TxD) That's true on the 9-pin connector at the PC. You should also link to the common or ground pin -- pin 5 and/or pin 1 (pin 1 is usual for the shielding if any). I'm afraid I've no idea about Ipag connectors, but if you use a proper Ipag serial port sync cable you shouldn't need to know. The normal sync operation must have the correct lines hooked up. P.S. I hope, that GPSout work with Free FSUIPC too.. GPSout doesn't need FSUIPC to work with FS2004. Regards, Pete
