PMDG offsets

I don't know if I'm committing a mortal sin by posting this. As it sounds like reverse engineering.

I tried the AUTOBRAKE offset $62AA found at http://members.chello.at/spatat/pmdg.htm

But it didn't work.

Perhaps because the offset was extracted from an earlier version of FS. Maybe FS2002.

Or maybe it is not "regular" offset. I.e. the offset is copied to the table of offsets maintained by FSUIPC?

Any thoughts?

I don't think it's likely to be a problem here. Almost all of FSUIPC had to be built using "reverse engineering" -- you don't think Microsoft provides all the data I need? ;-)

No, none of the offsets above 1FFF are or have ever been "FS" offsets, and precious few below that are these days either. They are all FSUIPC offsets. It is FSUIPC which populates them with information it extracts from FS, and acts on them when they are written.

That is, all except for those ranges of offsets which have been allocated, by request, to other developers. 662A is in one such region. How such offsets are used is completely unknown to FSUIPC (and me, therefore).
