Zero008 Posted August 23, 2005 Report Posted August 23, 2005 Hi, I'm currently doing my first steps with the FSUIPC SDK. I got everything working and played around a bit, but now I'ld like to display the current flight state and i wonder how they did that in programs like IvAp or FSACARS. The states should be "boarding, taxi, climb, cruise, descend, taxi, block".
Pete Dowson Posted August 23, 2005 Report Posted August 23, 2005 ... I'd like to display the current flight state and i wonder how they did that in programs like IvAp or FSACARS. The states should be "boarding, taxi, climb, cruise, descend, taxi, block". Are you talking about the user's aircraft or the AI traffic? The AI traffic state is provided in the TCAS tables (for FS2004 only, not FS2002) as documented. There's no "boarding" state. You'd have to pretend they are boarding when sleeping or initialising and getting clearance at the gate. For the user aircraft you'd have to ask the user, or derive it from observing what he's doing with the aircraft. Regards, Pete
