yynz Posted November 1, 2005 Report Posted November 1, 2005 Hi, If I am planning to write my own code to interface the FS and FSUIPC, do I need to register, or can I use FSUIPC 'as is' ? Thank you! :)
Pete Dowson Posted November 1, 2005 Report Posted November 1, 2005 If I am planning to write my own code to interface the FS and FSUIPC, do I need to register, or can I use FSUIPC 'as is' ? To get full access to FSUIPC, expecially for your language's debugger and so on, you really do need to register. If you are producing freeware for issue to others in due course then you can get a freeware access key at some stage, but this won't necessarily give your debugger access too. Regards, Pete
yynz Posted November 1, 2005 Author Report Posted November 1, 2005 Thanks for the answer Pete, I only want to use it at home, actually. but the debugger is important. what do you mean by "full access"? Is basic airplane controls and parameters readings considered 'full access' ? I would like to build my own (basic) cockpit hardware and was planning to write the interfacing S/W myself too. Cheers, yynz
