Magic Man Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 Any chance of developing a plug-in to allow variables etc. from FSUIPC to be passed to LCDStudio (http://www.lcdstudio.com)...? This would allow simple custom LCD panels to be setup - personally, I'm using a Logitech G15 keyboard which can make use of LCD Studio to run its display and access to FSUIPC variables would be very handy on there...!
Pete Dowson Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 Any chance of developing a plug-in to allow variables etc. from FSUIPC to be passed to LCDStudio (http://www.lcdstudio.com)...? Sorry, but I've never heard of it. Have you asked the authors? I'm really 100% tied up with doing things for FS without doing 'plug-ins' for other programs, certainly until February at least. Looking at their website, they say: With its flexible plugin system users will be able to extend LcdStudio with functionality created by 3th parties or write their own extentions with the LcdStudio Software Development Kit which will be made available free of charge shortly after the release of LcdStudio. ... though there's no sign of the SDK yet. When it is released, with that together with the FSUIPC SDK you should be good to go? Regards, Pete
Magic Man Posted December 1, 2005 Author Report Posted December 1, 2005 Roger that, thanks for the reply.
tuomas Posted December 11, 2005 Report Posted December 11, 2005 This should get you at least somewhere - though it supports only text-displays connected to the parallel port and using the Hitachi chip. But still, something. And very nice. http://www.mikkila.org/fsbus/lcd //Tuomas
