c_b Posted December 13, 2005 Report Posted December 13, 2005 Hi, When operating the transponder (default radio stack) a key press on num. key responds to the 1000 on fist key press, 100 on the second etc. Is there any offset to handle this in FSUIPC? Thanks

I don't think I understand the question. There's an offset to set the transponder. You can program it any way you like. If you want to send the FS controls you mention you can do so via offset 3110, but bear in mind that the controls to do selection that way have to be consecutive and contiguous. They don't work with some of the more sophisticated panels around because they send controls continuously, and these interfere. If you could say what it is you want to do I could maybe help a bit more? Pete
Graham Pollitt Posted January 27, 2008 Report Posted January 27, 2008 Is there an offset to read if the transponder is on, standby, off etc I've searched and cant find anything regarding if there is or not thanks Graham
Pete Dowson Posted January 27, 2008 Report Posted January 27, 2008 Is there an offset to read if the transponder is on, standby, off etc Not in FS there isn't. It doesn't simulate the transponder so well, at least in its simulation engine. Some add-on aircraft have fully implemented transponder switches, but you'd have to check what controls they provide, other than mouse, if any. Regards Pete
