pjc16wg Posted May 10, 2006 Report Posted May 10, 2006 Apologies if this is dealt with elsewhere - if someone can point me in the right direction I would be grateful. I have FS2004 and at various times have installed and removed various expansion packs. Having not used it recently I came back to it today, on trying to install another expansion pack, (Justflights Vulcan) and find that I can't actually start the programme. Disc 4 goes in, the FS2004 intro screen comes up - and then the following error message: The version of FS2004 detected is not compatible with this version of FSUIPC. It is build 9.01.40901. You need the correct version of FS2004. Check the Help-About: the build should be 9.00.30612. FS2004 will terminate when you select OK. The programme wont start at all. What is happening here? It does not make sense to me at all. Cheers
Thomas Richter Posted May 10, 2006 Report Posted May 10, 2006 Hi, just download the latest FSUIPC: http://forums.simflight.com/download.php?id=56758 overwrite the old one. I think your expansion pack installed a old version of FSUIPC.
pjc16wg Posted May 11, 2006 Author Report Posted May 11, 2006 Thanks for the tip - worked perfectly, and now have new expansion pack up and running. Thank you. :D
