dco Posted June 27, 2006 Report Posted June 27, 2006 Hi, I would like to assign the PTT to my yoke (using FDT hardware) PTT on offset = 1001, ?, ?) PTT off offset = 1002, ?, ?) I don't know what the offset length in bytes is (probably 1, 2 or 4?). and the actual value to write to that location - I assume a value of 1 for putting the PTT on and a value of 0 for PTT off. Not to strong in all this  Thanks, Marny
Pete Dowson Posted June 27, 2006 Report Posted June 27, 2006 I would like to assign the PTT to my yoke (using FDT hardware) PTT on offset = 1001, ?, ?) PTT off offset = 1002, ?, ?) I don't know what the offset length in bytes is (probably 1, 2 or 4?). Er, I think you are a bit confused there. There are no offsets for PTT. The numbers you quote are CONTROL numbers - i.e. numbers programmed on buttons or keypresses. Those above 65536 ae FS control, those below are those added by FSUIPC. You can use offsets to send controls -- check 3110. You write the control number there as a 32-bit integer (i.e. length 4 bytes). Regards, Pete
