ATC traffic question

Is it possible to monitor the ATC traffic between the pilot and tower ?

Or get the current state (taxi, cleared for take-off, land etc) ?

I'll guess it's not possible (haven't found it the the docs)..

No, I cannot intercept the conversation between ATC and AI aircraft.

However, yes, of course you can get the current state of AI traffic through the TCAS tables facilities in FSUIPC, at least since FS2004 (not before). Try running my own TrafficLook demo program supplied with FSUIPC -- it shows that state.

Documentation for the FSUIPC programmable facilities is found in the FSUIPC SDK.

No, I cannot intercept the conversation between ATC and AI aircraft.

Not interrested in the AI traffic, just the ATC radio traffic with the pilot himself, or the current ATC status (taxi,cleared to land etc). If you look in

the saved flight file it seems that this information is atleast saved.
