programming with FSUIPC

Hi all, I am developing a mapping program with FSUIPC on VB.net and encountering a few problems. I hope if anyone could give me some suggestions :wink:

1). I am trying to implement a vector map into my program, as I want to keep the resolution while zoning. However, the vector map I got is in Adobe Illustrator, which I have no idea of how to make it works :?

Is there any better Vector Map source I can find on the web?

if so how can I implement it into VB.net? (I am sorry that I am not very good at VB.)

2). From the FSUIPC_SDK, I have found it very useful for me to read/write offset values. However, I am looking some extra information which I would like to display as well. Is it possible to to read the following information through those addresses?

i). Distance remain to distination

ii). Estimated time remain

How would anything know where you are going?

If you've loaded a PLAN into FS, then maybe the information in offsets 6000 and following provides what you need?
