spitfire9 Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 I am currently building a throttle quadrant for a B-727. I will be using a Betainnovation plasma-lite card. I would like to use 6 different potentiometers, 3 for throttle and another seperate 3 for the reversers. Is this possible, using the FSUIPC software??? Just a yes or no would suffice for now, so I can go ahead with the constuction. After that is complete ,I will read the manual and figure it out from there. Thanks much!
Pete Dowson Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 I would like to use 6 different potentiometers, 3 for throttle and another seperate 3 for the reversers. Is this possible, using the FSUIPC software??? Yes, provided your potentiometers interface correctly into Windows looking like a set of joystick axes. You can get 6 on one joystick device even with FSUIPC still using the old Windows joystick API -- the axes are called X Y Z R U and V. In FSUIPC's joystick calibrations pages there's a siingle Reverser for all engines and, separately, a page for up to 4 independent reversers. Regards Pete
spitfire9 Posted November 3, 2006 Author Report Posted November 3, 2006 Thanks Pete. Should be no problem then with that card.It actually has 8 axis on it so I can also program one for the speedbrake and one for the flaps.
