WideFS & protocol

Good afternoon all,

I'm a registered user of FSUIPC and WideFS. I'm currently using version 3.74 & 6.72.

Just wondering.... In WideFS are there any benefits of switching PreferredProtocol and Protocol to UDP instead of TCP? If so, what are the benefits and what are the downsides?

Please read the section in the WideFS documentation entitled "What’s this about UDP?". It is exactly this question that I address there.
