freetime1 Posted August 2, 2007 Report Posted August 2, 2007 hello It seems every time i fly at some point the airplane goes out of control it goes into a deep decline of altiude,and the speed drops.I have never had this problem bfore ,it has just started when i fly with fsmeteo.Please help with this matter i just bought fsmeteo 2 days ago and want to continue to use it ,but when u fly and your plane just goes down like a missle hit it ,it is annoying thanks freetime1 i fly using simulator 2004 thought u woould want to know

Well, this is not the FSMeteo support place, but it sounds simply as if you forgot to turn on your pitot heat and/or enable anti-ice, so when you fly through any layer (usually clouds) with icing conditions your pitot tube freezes up, stopping the ASI, and/or your engines fail, or maybe even your wings lose lift due to icing. Maybe you never experienced this before because you never had realistic weather? Regards Pete
