Cant get wide fs to work on client pc

I have just did a complete reinstall of windows and fs2004. I purchased the latest fsuipc and widefs. I have set up pc exactly how I had it when I was operating widefs 3.65 and fsuipc 3.48. I have put wideserver.ini and wideserver.dll in FS2004 modules folder and have a seperate folder on client pc with wideclient.exe wideclient.ini in it. I have started fs2004 and registered both and no link exists. I don't know what I am doing wrong, please help...... Below is the log info.

Before worrying about widefs have you checked that the two computers can 'talk' with each other over their network connection?

As far as I know I have setup the network and it works fine, I can transfer files etc and have setup fscommander on the client pc and the database loads from fs2004 - server pc. How else can I check this

Make sure your firewall is allowing access on BOTH machines.

Thanks Jim, I turned firewall off on both machines and it works again. Do I just leave firewall off now?

No! Configure both firewalls to allow WideFS access.
