problem with fsuipc4

I've been trying to install fsuipc4 in order to make FDC live cockpit work in my computer but I can't make it work because

of this:

Installer for FSUIPC4.DLL version 4.16

Looking in registry for FSX install path:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator\10.0

Parameter"SetupPath"

... NOT found! Asking user to find FSX.EXE instead ...

So I don't know what to do. Coud you help me please. Thank you

This is saying that FSX is not installed correctly -- the Registry entries which record its installation are not even present! Have you rolled back or re-installed Windows since installing FSX? If so you really should also reinstall FSX.

So I don't know what to do.

When it asked you to locate FSX.EXE in the browser window presented, did you not do it? It may allow FSUIPC4 to install. However, it most certainly will not solve all of your FSX problems if it is not installed correctly, so I'd still recommend that you re-install it.

thank you very much for your help. Thank you for answering so quikly.I have flight simulator X deluxe edition. I will reinstall it now. I 've put before the service pack 1 for flight simulator so maybe this cause the problem?

Installing the SP1 update should certainly not disturb the registry for the original installation. Did the SP1 update go smoothly? Did it find the original FSX automatically, as it should, or did you have to tell it where it was? If the latter you could and should have done the same with FSUIPC4 when it asked.

Ultimately though, the Registry does need to correctly reflect the installation details, otherwise other add-ons will also face problems later.

I install fsuipc 4 but the problem now is that when start the fly th plane is in the air and not in the ground as it used to be at the begining. I also reinstall fsx without any problem. So what I should do? Thank you for your help

This is nothing to do with FSUIPC4. You are loading a different Flight. Just go to the Flights menu in FS and load one you like. Mark it as the default.
