Hi can anyone tell me whether it is possible to map a KEY COMMAND to one of the rotary knobs on the Go-Flight RP48 (push button and rotary unit) ?

This can't be done in the Go-Flight configuration software but I was hoping that FSUIPC wold be able to pick up the rotary knobs and assign a key stroke ?

Thanks in advance,

Buck

If by "KEY COMMAND" you mean a keystroke, then yes, for sure.

Yes. Please review the Buttons section in the User Guide (you can read that whether you register FSUIPC or not! ;-) ). You'll see than any button can be assigned to a keystroke (or a separate one for "press" and for "release", or even a sequence of keystrokes (though this involves editing the INI file). The rotary knobs on GF units looks like 4 buttons to FSUIPC -- fast anticlockwise, slow anti-clockwise, slow clockwise, and fast clockwise. You can program them all the same or all different.

Pete,

That was so the response I was hoping to hear.... :D

I'm ok on the FSUIPC side of it (been using registered versions of all your fine work for years  ), I guess the real question was around how FSUIPC saw the rotary turns from the GF unit. Delighted to hear it can see them as button presses and assign key strokes. :D

Many thanks for the prompt reply and have a great Xmas Pete.
