a3ffireman Posted December 28, 2007 Report Posted December 28, 2007 Hello, I've a registered version of FSUIPC 4.20. I'm experiencing some problems with the f.... text scroll line that I'd like to remove. I used several way but it doesn't disappear, even though I use your software with the option in the main menu. Is there any known issue with this option or is there any other way? Thanks. Kévin.

I'm not aware of any specific problems with this feature. But can you give me more details so I can check? Specifically: which messages, and what updates have you applied to FSX? Regards Pete
a3ffireman Posted January 1, 2008 Author Report Posted January 1, 2008 Hello, I have installed the SP2 pack and some payware planes. Actually I receive the IVAP (IVAO sofware that, I think, you know) messages via this line.
Pete Dowson Posted January 2, 2008 Report Posted January 2, 2008 I have installed the SP2 pack and some payware planes. Actually I receive the IVAP (IVAO sofware that, I think, you know) messages via this line. I don't know IVAP or IVAO I'm afraid, but I suspect that the versions they programmed for FSX use the new SimConnect facilities for writing the messages to the screen. These are not the types of messages the FSUIPC facility is designed to intercept. I'm not sure that I would be able to do such a thing, at least not without hacking into FSX whilst running IVAP software which I don't have. Surely their software includes options for you to adjust or switch the sorts of messages you want to see? If not, have you discussed your needs with the authors? Regards Pete
a3ffireman Posted January 2, 2008 Author Report Posted January 2, 2008 Hello, You were fully right, I didn't think about changing such options in the IVAP configurator. Thanks a lot for this great support and keep it going, you're doing well.
