Please the simpler the better! Hmm. I'm not sure I can make it simpler than I made it in the documentation. After all, if I could I would have done! Go to the axis assignments in FSUIPC's options. Move the axis you want to assign, select "direct to FSUIPC ...", then enable one of the 4 dropdowns below, drop it and look for the steering tiller, okay it. Then go to the Joystick Calibrations section, page through to find the steering tiller, "Set" it (the Set button top left in its section), and calibrate it following the simple step-by-step instructions in the User Guide.
