Hi

Could somebody please explain to me in laymans terms how to set up my joystick in FSUIPC to act as a steering tiller (twist grip) so at increased airspeeds the effect transfers to my rudder pedals. ie above say 60 knots twist tiller does not work.

Please the simpler the better!

many thanks

Hmm. I'm not sure I can make it simpler than I made it in the documentation. After all, if I could I would have done!

Go to the axis assignments in FSUIPC's options. Move the axis you want to assign, select "direct to FSUIPC ...", then enable one of the 4 dropdowns below, drop it and look for the steering tiller, okay it. Then go to the Joystick Calibrations section, page through to find the steering tiller, "Set" it (the Set button top left in its section), and calibrate it following the simple step-by-step instructions in the User Guide.

Hi

I did a bit more reading and a bit of playing and seem to be getting somwhere now. Still just learning, I guess we all are especially as we keep updating constantly to make this a close to real as possible.

cheers
