Pete Dowson Posted July 7, 2003 Report Posted July 7, 2003 two station running fs2002 in a lan Is this a question about WidevieW? I don't have any programs designed to link two copies of FS across a LAN. You are presumably either using WidevieW by Luciano Napolitano, or FS's own Multiplayer? Regards, Pete
Meddo Posted July 7, 2003 Author Report Posted July 7, 2003 Yes, its in FS Multiplayer, What I test, is with three stations one as a host and the two others as players join the host session, none of the station seem to see others animations like lights, smokes trail, but you see landing gear working..
Pete Dowson Posted July 7, 2003 Report Posted July 7, 2003 Yes, its in FS Multiplayer Ah, I see. I'm afraid I know nothing about multiplayer. Really this forum is about my own modules, but I hope someone here knows enough about it to help you. What I test, is with three stations one as a host and the two others as players join the host session, none of the station seem to see others animations like lights, smokes trail, but you see landing gear working.. Possibly the MP system itself is not designed to go into that level of detail? I wouldn't be surprised. After all, there would be performance considerations -- it was designed to be used over the Internet, eg on MS's game zone. Regards, Pete
