dougd120 Posted January 27, 2008 Report Posted January 27, 2008 Pete- I play Radar Contact as an addon utility to FSX. I also read that there's supposed to be an addon menu in FSX which displays FSUIPC. I'm getting the request after I type a flightplan in Radar Contact, "IPC request contains bad data." I went to their support forum and Radar Contact couldn't answer my questions on any of the support forums. I'm thinking this is an FSUIPC problem because it can't connect to FSX. Any idea what this is? Thanks, Doug Installer for FSUIPC4.DLL version 4.20 Looking in registry for FSX install path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator\10.0 Parameter"SetupPath" SetupPath="C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\" Checking version of FSX.EXE: ... Pete Dowson Posted January 27, 2008 Report Posted January 27, 2008 I'm thinking this is an FSUIPC problem because it can't connect to FSX. Any idea what this is? Not without the FSUIPC4 log file, from the modules folder, please. You only showed me the Installer log. Pete
