downscc Posted February 10, 2008 Report Posted February 10, 2008 Picked this QFA7585 flight for the gusty conditions...nice flight. KORD was 29019G31 and KJFK was 26025G28. Normal setup, since I haven't been able to do much beta testing I just approached it as a novice. Wind control set to 1Kt/Deg per 2 sec, Press/Temp control set to 20 & 100 respectfully. Unchecked suppression of turbulence gusts and variance. Watched pressure/temperature changes on WeatherSet2 during cruise at FL390 and although it changed (it's supposed to) they had much improved affect on the simulation. Approach at JKF below 3000 was gusty but no shifts between layers on the way down like I've experienced before. Gusty conditions were entirely within the controllable regime. Thank you very much Pete.
