Hello

Even it does a little time everything it was working well. After reinstating FSX (WITH ACCELERATION) AND FDC on another hard disk, beginning FDC and it seems be OK, but when I initiate FSX, FDC's window disappears and therefore it never manages to connect. There is no FSUIPC message of mistake. Please can you help me to solve this?

This is the install log:

Installer for FSUIPC4.DLL version 4.25

Looking in registry for FSX install path:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator\10.0

Parameter"SetupPath"

SetupPath="F:\Archivos de programa\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X"

Checking version of FSX.EXE:

... Version 10.0.61637.0 (Need at least 10.0.60905.0)

Checking compatibility with installed SimConnect:

... Okay, Probe Manifest matches installed SimConnect 60905 (Original)

Found later build SimConnect 61242 (SP1 May07)

Found later build SimConnect 61259 (Acc/SP2 Oct07)

Checking if there's already a version of FSUIPC4 installed in:

F:\Archivos de programa\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Modules\FSUIPC4.DLL

... No previous valid version found.

FSX Modules folder already exists.

Okay -- installed FSUIPC4 into "F:\Archivos de programa\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Modules\FSUIPC4.DLL"

Looking for the current user's Application Data path:

... found as "C:\Documents and Settings\Jose Antonio\Datos de programa"

Now finding \Microsoft\FSX\FSX.CFG for all users, including this one

Looking in "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Datos de programa"

No FSX.CFG there

Looking in "C:\Documents and Settings\CMR Studio\Datos de programa"

No FSX.CFG there

Looking in "C:\Documents and Settings\Default User\Datos de programa"

No FSX.CFG there

Looking in "C:\Documents and Settings\Jose Antonio\Datos de programa"

Found FSX.CFG in "C:\Documents and Settings\Jose Antonio\Datos de programa\Microsoft\FSX\FSX.CFG"!

Now checking DLL.XML ...

... There is a previous DLL.XML, checking for FSUIPC4 section.

... FSUIPC4 section already exists but will be replaced.

... FSUIPC4 section of DLL.XML written okay

Now checking for a SimConnect.XML file ...

... No SimConnect.XML file found. This is okay.

Looking in "C:\Documents and Settings\LocalService\Datos de programa"

No FSX.CFG there

Looking in "C:\Documents and Settings\NetworkService\Datos de programa"

No FSX.CFG there

Now installing additional files into the Modules folder:

Installed "FSUIPC4 User Guide.pdf" okay

Installed "FSUIPC4 for Advanced Users.pdf" okay

Installed "FSUIPC4 History.pdf" okay

Installed "List of FSX controls.pdf" okay

All installer tasks completed okay!

Sorry, I'm not sure I can. Why do yuo think it is FSUIPC?

I don't have FDC and don't know why its "window disappears". Have you asked FDC support? Maybe they can help.

This is the install log:

That just shows that FSUIPC installed okay. If you want to see what was happening with FSUIPC4 in FSX when it was running you need the FSUIPC4.LOG, not the Installer.

Thank you for answering so rapidly. I was thinking that it was a problem of connection. I will try to obtain FDC's help. Thank you for everything.

Check the contents of the FSUIPC4.LOG too, just in case it says there's a problem.

Hello Pete.

You had reason. FSUIC was nice. It was a problem of FDC's installation. I have returned to installing correctly and everything goes perfectly.

Thank you for your patience and for your help
