TEX767 Posted April 18, 2008 Report Posted April 18, 2008 Hello, got 4.26 with FSX and can't setup the Joystick axis as of now. Did it before and got it down with your nice program on FS9, but it will not dedect any movement of the levers right now in FSX. Thanks for your help, Regards Thomas
Pete Dowson Posted April 18, 2008 Report Posted April 18, 2008 got 4.26 with FSX and can't setup the Joystick axis as of now. Did it before and got it down with your nice program on FS9, but it will not dedect any movement of the levers right now in FSX. Do you mean FSUIPC's "Axis Assignments", or only the Calibrations facilities? If assignments, FSUIPC4 uses the same method for reading joystick axes as FSX. Does FSX see them okay? If calibrations, make sure you don't have the sensitivities in FSX turned right down. The slider for sensitivity should be all the way up (to the right), for null zone it should be all the way down (to the left). Regards Pete
TEX767 Posted April 18, 2008 Author Report Posted April 18, 2008 Thanks Pete, your modul in my case just don't reacts to any lever movement. Did the same thing all over again in the past because of problems with vista and lvd767. Can assign the buttons from the joystick's but can't calibrate the levers this time. Need help :D Regards from Munich Thomas
Pete Dowson Posted April 18, 2008 Report Posted April 18, 2008 your modul in my case just don't reacts to any lever movement. Where doesn't it react? You haven't answered any of my questions! I cannot help without knowing more. Have you tested your axes in FSX itself, first? Never try to use FSUIPC before getting basic things working. Need help :D You need to read my replies properly, please. I cannot help with the information you provide. Regards Pete
TEX767 Posted April 18, 2008 Author Report Posted April 18, 2008 Thanks again Pete, let me explain again.: When opening 4.26 and then Axis Assignment" followed by movement of any of the Levers of my Saitek Pro Throttle System with one ad on Throttle , nothing happens, no readout or anything. Did this with Yoysticks enabled with FSX and disabled with FSX. Got it now done with FSX, it works unless the Spoilers have to move with a button. Would like to do the same with your program, which works on my FS9 and did so with FSX in the past. Maybe this will shed some light now. Regards Thomas

Hmm. Strange. What does "one ad" mean -- is this "one add-on"? FSUIPC4 uses directInput, just like FSX, but it associates the joystick with a normal Windows joystick number (0 - 15). You said buttons on the same unit were recognised. What joystick number? If they see it with a joystick number, so should FSUIPC, so it is a puzzle. Did this with Yoysticks enabled with FSX and disabled with FSX. Sorry, I don't know what that means.. both enabled and disabled with FSX? What about FSUIPC4? Got it now done with FSX, it works unless the Spoilers have to move with a button. What does "Spoilers have to move with a button" mean? Would like to do the same with your program, which works on my FS9 and did so with FSX in the past. What have you changed to stop it working, please? Is this a new PC, a new Windows installation, or something? I've not changed FSUIPC, so it is something in your system I think. Maybe this will shed some light now. Well, it certainly creates a lot more questions, doesn't it? Regards Pete
