hffin Posted April 24, 2008 Report Posted April 24, 2008 Hi, FSUIPC has always worked perfectly. Yesterday i reformatted my hard drive and reinstalled FS9 and all other addons i have for it. When i tried to register FSUIPC, FS9 hangs and i have to quit the process with task manager. When i click on "register FSUIPC", the cursor blinks once and then my whole FS9 and the FSUIPC registration menu hangs and must quit the process. Can you tell me what is wrong?? Thanks, Harry Z
Pete Dowson Posted April 24, 2008 Report Posted April 24, 2008 When i click on "register FSUIPC", the cursor blinks once and then my whole FS9 and the FSUIPC registration menu hangs and must quit the process. Can you tell me what is wrong?? No, but in the few other cases it has been due to some other service, driver or process going wrong. Kensington mouse driver, Windows blinds, other such things. Something you have installed is interfering with it. Regards Pete
mackintosh Posted April 30, 2008 Report Posted April 30, 2008 [edited] Nevermind, the culprit in my case was PMDGOptions.dll, after reinstalling PMDG products, FSUIPC registered fine...go figure.

Mr.White Posted October 20, 2008 Report Posted October 20, 2008 I have the problem after uninstalling the PMDG product. Is there any other solution?
Pete Dowson Posted October 20, 2008 Report Posted October 20, 2008 I have the problem after uninstalling the PMDG product. Is there any other solution? But did uninstalling remove all the PMDG modules from the Modules folder? In my experience, it doesn't. Otherwise there must be some other rogue DLL or program interfering. regards Pete
Mr.White Posted October 20, 2008 Report Posted October 20, 2008 Thx, Pete. I just moved most of the DLL`s into a temp folder and it worked. :)
