GAJ52 Posted May 14, 2008 Report Posted May 14, 2008 I have recently reinstalled FSX and FS9 due to a computer problem on my Vista 64 based system. FSUIPC 4.28 (WideFS7) and 6.75 have successfully been installed and registered on my main PC together with WideFS 6.75 on my Laptop. Both FSX and FS9 are on the same hard drive and within the main primary folder (Microsoft Games) the network appears ok as FS9 connects instantly, but FSX with a registered version of FsWide7 refuses to connect. I have obviously forgotten something in the setup as it was working fine before the reinstall. Any idea what I may have missed seeing that FS9 connects normally. Thanks Glen
GAJ52 Posted May 15, 2008 Author Report Posted May 15, 2008 Spot on Sir ! When I checked the Exceptions list in Windows Firewall there were two entries for Flight Simulator, only one was ticked. I have now ticked the other entry, fired up FSX, now WideFS connects instantly. Many thanks for your help :D Glen
