w3cpr Posted June 23, 2008 Report Posted June 23, 2008 Hi... I am using Peter Dowson's FSUIPS program and radar on several aircraft. This is a one computer user for FSUIPC. When networked to another computer within arms' reach and using the main computer as the host, I took off from the same airport with two planes separated by about 5 minutes. The spot mode showed two aircraft and their identifier. The host aircraft was behind the client aircraft and showed up nicely in the overhead mode. The problem I noticed is that when I called up the radar on the host aircraft, (which is the one with the FSUIPC license), the client aircraft did not show up on the radar at any distance. Further I could see the client's aircraft in front of me at a distance of 5 miles. I'm wondering if I need to install the FSUIPC program on both machines or is this a normal condition. Thanks

Thanks Are you talking about multiplayer? FSUIPC cannot provide any information about multiplayer aircraft, only FS AI traffic. There is a program called AIBridge by Jose Oliveira which does deal with multiplayer traffic, by injecting data into FSUIPC's AI traffic tables. On-line (internet) ATC Programs using multiplayer to show other fliers aircraft either use AIBridge or do the same injection themselves. Regards Pete
