simba64 Posted August 20, 2008 Report Posted August 20, 2008 Hello, I have Flight Deck Companion 3.5 running over WideFS on a second PC but don't know how to get the voice to my FS PC. (Wideserver) Anyone a clue? Thx.
Pete Dowson Posted August 20, 2008 Report Posted August 20, 2008 Hello, I have Flight Deck Companion 3.5 running over WideFS on a second PC but don't know how to get the voice to my FS PC. (Wideserver) You can't. The voice will be played on the client PC. Surely that is the biggest reason for running it on a separate PC, so you get the voice sounds separately, maybe on overhead speakers or a headset. Much better than mixing them with the FS engine sounds and so on. Regards Pete
simba64 Posted August 20, 2008 Author Report Posted August 20, 2008 Yes but I'm sitting behind my FS pc with headset and TrackIR and the client pc is far away so there is no way to play the sound thru other speakers. Thx anyway...

Shame. You are missing the main benefit of running speech programs on a separate PC. ;-) Regards Pete
