4.316 interim "forgets" button assignments

As a follow up on this thread: viewtopic.php?f=54&t=72513

I have now replaced 4.312 with 4.316.

And the problem persist!!

Buttons assigned through FSUIPC 4.316 doesnt get saved right.

I can use my old FSUIPC4.ini file, where I setup all my controls through FSUIPS 4.30, but as soon as I unassign - reassign buttons with 4.316 they doésn´t seem to get saved correctly.

Here is first an extract of my original FSUIPC4.ini buttons section:

OK,

Let me add my little bit of misery too.I also keep loosing an assign.I assigned 3 buttons on a second joy to open panel windows for the PMDG 747 FSX version. beeing the overhead, central pedestal and the throttle and I keep loosing the throttle assigened button{that is assigned to open panel8}.Tried both aircraft specifec and none specific.

I start my FSX with the default boeing and then change to the PMDG 747X.

Buttons assigned through FSUIPC 4.316 doesnt get saved right.

I need to be able to repro this here in order to fix it. So far (before my holiday) I could not.

I'll try again when I've caught up with everything. I've never actually tried unassigning, rebooting and reassigning before. Never seemed a logical thing to do, but maybe it's a clue.

And here is my FSUIPC4.ini after first unassigning my flaps Incr setting and the reassigning it back again:

Comparing those two I also note that in the interim you also made several changes in the [Axes] assignments.

What is the default aircraft being loaded (is it one you have specific settings for), and did you change aircraft before making the de-assignment/assignment changes?

But believe me I have tried serveral times with the same outcome !

My default aircraft is the Airtrike over friday habour.

I then change to the default Cessna 172, for wich I don´t have a special setup.

Non of the checkmarks are set for "Aircraft specific" settings.

I have used FSUIPC for some time.

Using FSUIPC4.30 don´t give me any problems - works like a charm apart from the reverser issue, wich has been fixed in Your interim version.

Using the interim though, gives me trouble.

Okay, but I needed to know thattrying to reproduce something which so far hasn't happened here, I need every clue.

Okay, I managed to reproduce the problem and fix it. There was also a related problem with Macro assignments -- these were being loaded incorrectly. Both errors arose when I inserted some new code to deal with the Lua programming plugin facilities.

Thanks for your help in fixing this. Please download 4.317 now.
