I would like to connect 2 PC's (FSX on both).

And run any other 3rd party softwares on the 2nd, leaving FSX to command the 1st.

My questions are:

Is there a dummies guide to setting up WIDEFS on 2 pc's? I don't want to buy it just to look at the manual.

I know I can run FSCommander on a seperate PC, but what about ASX and VAFS?

The thing is I keep getting a memory error/crash issue. Instead of reducing my 4GB RAM to 1GB and troubleshooting

my graphics card, I would rather utilze a spare PC I have.

My Specs:

Microsoft® Windows Vista™ Business

NVIDIA 8800 GTS

4GB RAM

AMD 64 X2 4400+, 2200 Mhz 2 cores

Thanks!

No, there's no dummie's guide labelled as such -- the User guide is the dummie's guide, as it is so damned simple! Users are often dummies, you see! And no "setting up" is needed at all if your Network is okay. You do need to know which part goes where. It tells you.

Never heard of VAFs. ASX doesn't use either FSUIPC or WideFS.

I don't see how that solves your memory problems. Where does 4->1Gb and graphics card come into it? Seems you are a little confused, or are you missing saying something here?
